This Sefer explains and discusses many subjects from the Talmud .

He explains the commentaries such as Rashi , Tosfos , the MAHARSHAL and MAHARSHA

This book with its clear and yet complex insights of understanding is widely learnt by all good yeshivas (talmudical colleges) throughout the world today .

Just before the Nazis entered Metz in 1940 , the Jewish Community in fear that the nazis would desecrate the graves , especially of the very famous Rabbis of Metz , they removed the gravestones . After the war no-one remained alive who knew were the gravestones should be returned . Hence the headstones of the famous Rabbis remain at the entrance to the Cemetary .

Even so , Rabbi Bamberger , on the authority of Rabbi Padwa Z"tl of London set up a collective headstone ( as you can see at the top of this page ) in the area it was assumed all the Rebbes were buried .
