"Sun in Taurus מזל שור The Bull" 19th April - 20th May 2008 Dear Readers, Welcome - Shulem Aleichem שלום עליכם ! Welcome to "this months astrological events", written by me - Jonathan Waxman, in accordance with spiritual Jewish Spiritual Astrology as i have learnt from רזיאל המלאך - The Holy Book "Raziel HaMalach". This webpage is written using the Swiss Ephemeris Charts (charts that indicate the exact placing of the planets in the specific star signs each and every second of every day) and my "intuitive" interpretations of these planetary aspects. Introduction to Sun in Taurus מזל שור The Bull The Sefer רזיאל המלאך - The Holy Book "Raziel HaMalach" explains that each star sign reflects a period of 7 years in ones life. The 2nd star sign of the zodiac is Taurus - the bull and reflects the period of ones life from 7-14 years old, the intrinsically important foundation period of ones life when ones personality is formed and moulded by ones surroundings and through other peoples influences over you. It seems strange that the sturdy and seemingly insensitive "bull" is so sensitive and influenced by other people, but astrology teaches that it is exactly so; we all are aware how sensitive "bulls" are known to be when they see the colour "red", this triggers an emotion in their mind from their eyes that can ignite a tremendous amount of real physical action. Similarly during this astrological period whilst the Sun is in Taurus, there will be plenty of events that will cause our emotions to trigger powerful events in our lives that will have tremendous consequences. This year whilst the Sun is in Taurus, Mercury and Venus will be in Taurus too, all forming good aspects to Pluto and Jupiter in earth sign of Capricorn and Saturn in earth Sign of Virgo, guarenteeing the next 30 days to be of powerful, real and solid destined events that will see considerable and REAL changes in all our lives. Pathway of Destiny about to Restart ! For the past 4 months since December 20th 2008, some aspects of our lives have seemingly being going backwards, this is due to the astrological influence of planet of Saturn. Saturn has now returned to the exact position it was in the star sign of Virgo in Mid-September 2007. Events have unfolded and personal experiences have taught all of us many lessons over the past few months, now is the time when we can use those experiences to get-it-right as the pathway of destiny is about to restart all our lives in a favourable way. A new direction and new events will start to unfold in all our lives from 4th May 2008, so utilize the next few weeks to make peace with your past, leave the past in the past and prepare for your destined future. Are you ready to really live the life you are destined to have ? Saturn Retrograde in Virgo Some Delays in "Destiny" Communication As explained in last months astrological events page, the only proviso of receiving ones destined pathway and true destiny is ..... you feel down and depressed that nothing seems to be happening ... a feeling of being blocked. Don't worry - it is about to change very quickly and suddenly ! The astrological reason for this is simple Saturn is still retrograde in the Star Sign of Virgo, whose ruler is Mercury - Planet of Communication. This means that you think there is nothing happening because no-one is talking to you, nor communicating to you whether actually or intuitively. You feel alone . For those people feeling like this ( as they probably have aspected Mercury, Saturn and Virgo aspects in their Natal Birthchart ) - this feeling will continue until 3rd May 2008 - then MAGICALLY on the 4th May 2008 ALL will change suddenly. The apparent delay, is simply Saturn preparing YOUR DESTINY for you, be patient a little longer - the Divine Astrological Universe guarentees to have you feeling positive, lively and communicative again from 4th May 2008 following your true destined pathway with the right people in the right place for you. The reason events will occur suddenly and surprisingly is that the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus in Taurus will all be making excellent aspects with Uranus in Pisces during the next month. Coupled with the fact that Mars will be leaving depressing Cancer and entering positively lively and invigourating Leo on the 9th May 2008 will provide the recipe for a wonderful and memorable month in all our lives. Saturday 19th April 2008 - Sun Enters Taurus Approx 4pm GMT A time to recognize how easily influenced one is by external situations and people; learn to allow the good influences and keep closed to the negative and destructive. Sunday 20th April 2008 - Full Moon in Scorpio A heightened state of stress with a feeling of being pulled in two directions, which will only break when one accepts the correct direction one is supposed to follow. Saturday 19th April 2008 - Sun 1° Taurus Trines Pluto 1° Capricorn An excellent aspect of change, whatever occurs today will leave an indelible mark to identify the direction of ones life, one will feel really calm and spiritual with an inner peacefulness and tranquility. Monday 21st April 2008 - Sun 2° Taurus Trines Saturn 2° Virgo Another excellent aspect bringing a real inner peace and calmness today with a "knowing" that one is in the right place with the right people doing the right thing - A date with Destiny Tuesday 22nd April 2008 - Mars 21° Cancer Trines Uranus 21° Pisces Today is the day of expecting an unexpected surprise Wednesday 23rd April 2008 - Venus squares Mars For some the door will be closing today, the Venus Square Mars will act as an astrological indicator to close the door on one aspect of ones life. If one forces to keep the door open - one will only feel the pain of bad energy. Thursday 24th April 2008 - Venus squares Jupiter Similarly as yesterday, sometimes one must learn to accept a seeming defeat in one aspect of ones life, in order to move on to ones future; astrological squares act as signpost to accept that something isnt good in ones life and must be disconnected from and the "door" must be closed. Thursday 24th April 2008 - Mars in Cancer opposes Jupiter in Capricorn The optimists are going to have an internal fight with the pessimists today; this astrological oppostion has been building up its challenging energy for the past few weeks. The good news for all optimists is that the pessimists have lost; and the bad news for all pessimists is that the optimists have won, and you feel even worse ! Jupiter in earth sign of Capricorn is more solid and real than a fleeting passing of Mars in water sign Cancer, which is about to change on 9th May 2008 when Mars enters Leo, whereas Jupiter will remain in Capricorn for another 8 months. Hence OPTIMISTS will WIN in todays opposition - so THINK positive ! Friday 25th April 2008 - Venus sextiles Neptune An excellent day-dreamingly sleepy and peaceful day; a day for ideal for falling in love with an illusion or idea ! Special Update written Sunday 27th April 2008 Due to the Jewish Passover Pesach Holidays i have had a delay in uploading this page as i have taken a really invigourating and intellectually stimulating holiday travelling in Europe, places such as Lugano - Switzerland, Krakow-Poland, Milan - Italy, Antwerp and Brussels - Belgium and Metz - France. And as you can and will be able to see in the near future I shall be reinventing these websites with a new style and new spiritual understanding that i have found through these new experiences with some really special people. Many of you may indeed (falsely) think that i "know-it-all" - thats quite mistakeningly wrong of you; the more i learn the more i realise how little i know. That is simply the journey of life, a clever child that finally passes the exams to enter University may think they "know-it-all", but upon arrival at the vast University library will suddenly become overwhelmed at the amount of knowledge that needs to be learnt. Therefore please understand i too am on a journey of learning and changing, (and i certainly "don't know it all" !) Similarly for each and every person; for ALL of humanity, so long as we are alive on the same planet Earth we are all on similar but uniquely tailored journey that is both physical in nature but intrinsically spiritual for our souls to refine and to learn from the vaulable individual and collective experiences. As we change and learn the lessons, we can then move onto the next level, if we dont change and learn the lessons, we must relearn and relive the lesson in a different guise and circumstance until we do learn and change. Then individually and collectively we can raise the spiritual awareness and progress of all of mankind to become more spiritually enlightened, hence attaining the goal as prophesized in the Book of Daniel of being at ONE with Eternal Divine Spiritual Source of ALL energy of the Universe with GOD with an eternal and everlasting peace, love and harmony. The reason, i make this introduction today is that we are astrologically nearing the time when SATURN is about to stop its backward retrograde motion in Virgo and is about to move forward once again on the 3rd May 2008. Saturn is the planet which controls the time-clock of "destiny", certain events and circumstances that must occur in our lives as part of our individual and collective "destiny", occurs in synchronized harmony with the planet of Saturn. As Saturn will be returning to the point it was in Virgo in Mid-September 2007, it takes account of everything that has occured in all our lives since then and identifies to where we are now, if there are changes for the better, and we have done goodness with our lives, the lives of others then we receive GOOD karma and pleasant surprises will be coming our way. Conversely for those people whose actions have produced results that have damaged and hurt others, now will be the time of accountability. Saturn acts as a point of what was, what should be and what is, and then FORCES corrections to occur in our lives to correct the injustice and conversely too - reward the progress. The reason this becomes important for me to explain today is this is the last week before Saturn moves forward, if one wants good karma and pleasant surprises then prove to the Eternal Divine Universe that you are a better person today than you were last September 2007, so that when Saturn takes stock next week - you will have good karma ! Monday 28th April 2008 Mercury at 21° Taurus trine Uranus at 21° Pisces As with every good aspect with Uranus one should "Expect the unexpected surprise" and todays astrological aspect of Mercury with Uranus and then with lucky Jupiter - means a day full of pleasant surprises, meaningful communications and conversations with positive and constructive results. Todays astrological aspect will enable you to recognize the sudden difference in your life between the moment you wake up and the moment you go to sleep tonight. Monday 28th April 2008 Mercury at 22° Taurus trine Jupiter at 22 ° Capricorn An excellent day for organising and getting something solid and constructive completed today; this astrological energy of Mercury and Jupiter both in solid, down-to-earth earth signs aspecting in a very positive way means a day of real progress in a real world. As i explained whilst Jupiter is in Capricorn we are all going to find one specific area in our lives which will have a very positive and constructive change, this could be a new project, new business or a new home, whatever ones focused objective is, one always needs help. Today is the day the Eternal Divine Universe provides one with the astrological gift of energy to make ones dreams become a reality. Ofcourse one should be inately sensible, but if one is seeking a bank loan, promotion or anything from someone in power then today is the day to ask for help ! Tuesday 29th April 2008 Mercury 24° Taurus square Neptune at 24° Aquarius After yesterdays lively and positive communications, todays square with illusionary and sometimes confusing Neptune will create certain positive doubts in your mind and thoughts. We will all come to the conclusion that certain beliefs and feelings we had yesterday are simply not valid today. For some people who are holding onto the past - this will be traumatically daunting, but for those people who are enjoying and loving the "journey of life" with all the opportunities for change - todays events and thoughts will offer one a signpost that some "old and outdated" rules and principles are simply not valid for the future. This will be coupled with the good aspect with Mars:- Tuesday 29th April 2008 Mercury 24° Taurus sextile Mars 24° Cancer "It will have to be talked about today"; with the challenging Mercury square Aquarius is this good communication aspect with Mars. Today is an excellent day to discuss everything and anything. The power of speech when used wisely can create amazingly positive results, very often when people find themselves stuck at a crossroads they become blinkered and closed, pretending they are still moving forward when in fact they are stuck. Todays astrological energy will open ones eyes to the reality and provide one with the energy to discuss the problems constructively in order that one can make the correct decision and move forward. Wednesday 30th April 2008 Venus moves into Taurus until May 24th 2008 "Have you been missing something in your life? Have the past few weeks seemed a little dull and boring in one area of your life?" As fiery and passionately energizing planet of Venus enters Taurus today the UMPH and exciting energy of aliveness is restored. Suddenly at about 12 noon one will feel ALIVE again - there will be an unmistakenly something different in the atmosphere today - that will make everyone feel in love with life once again, and in so doing will ignite the sense of passion, compassion and love between people. Thursday 1st May 2008 Venus at 1° Taurus trines Pluto at 1° Capricorn On a day known as "lovers day" in France - the day known in france as the day of the seductive and sweet flower "Lily" is a fitting day for todays astrological aspect of Venus trine Pluto, bringing out the best passionate and romantic energy in everyone. The ability to be seductive and romantic is the recipe for love; the energy of love is the energy of life itself. As we know where there is love there is life and where there is life there is GOD, faith, hope and happiness. Todays collective astrological energy of Venus trine Pluto will teach everyone that we have to change the way we think in order to be able to live life and love. If one stagnates and remains stuck in the past one is in fact living off energy that is long dead. Friday 2nd May 2008 Mercury moves into Gemini till 10th July Mercury, the planet of communication, fast thinking and of intelligence arrives in the communicative and highly changeable AIR sign of Gemini. For everyone who has felt the hard-work of communicating and thinking over the past 6 months, well that is about to change today as Mercury enters Gemini. There is no coincedence as this movement of Mercury into Gemini is in perfect timing and in harmony with Saturn moving forward on 3rd May in Virgo, the sign of communication and intelligence - Mercurys natural home. Everyone will see everything starting to happen and come alive once again, as the stagnation and lack of communication creates energy of blockage in our lives, today that blockage is removed permanently. Today the whole world is moving forward again, finally leaving the past in the past. Saturday 3rd May 2008 Saturn stationary about to go direct at 1° 41' Virgo Take time today to "Stop and Think", your inner clock of destiny has rewound itself to September 2007, and it now about to move forward, giving you all you deserve for the efforts and tests you have completed in the past 8 months. For many, it has been a long and stressful winter, full of dissappointments, which started to change positively at the end of January 2008, and then another positive boost of energy at the end of March 2008. Well today is the day we have all been waiting for a Saturn moves forward in earth sign of Virgo coupled and aspecting Pluto in Capricorn will provide everyone with a very real life, real events and real people. I repeat the word REAL as Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo - both Earth signs will emphasize REAL reality as opposed to the "imaginative" and illusionary types of experiences that are completely in peoples minds. This is a very significant point in the world of the internet as people have found themselves in love with illusions and images on the internet, chasing fantasies, some people even take "holidays" by viewing places in pictures on the internet; these aspects of the internet are totally illusionary and UNREAL. Saturn in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn will teach us that we must learn to live in the REAL physical world with interaction and experiences with REAL people. Anything less than this is dillusionary unacceptable and we will all be forced to face this real reality in the coming months and years, as Pluto makes its indellible mark in Capricorn. Monday 5th May 2008 New Moon in Taurus at 12:19 GMT New Moons are always a time for new beginnings, but with the New Moon in earth sign of Taurus aspecting Saturn in earth sign of Virgo and Pluto in earth sign of Capricorn will 100% definately be a time of new and very real beginnings. In astrological terms, this New Moon in Taurus is and will be extremely powerful, especially as Saturn has just started moving forward taking spiritual account of peoples and nations actions of the past 8 months; i would predict "earth-moving" events today (probably to be taken figuratively and maybe literally too) and tomorrow in all our lives ! During my Passover Pesach Jewish Holidays, i was fortunate to read and learn certain prophecies written in very old Jewish spiritual teachings, comparing this time in the history of mankind and pertaining to our extra-ordinary generation as a time of irreversible transition for the whole world. Certain events are inevitable and will happen are indicative signs from "Mother Earth" that the time is coming closer, they are compared to the pains of "childbirth", where there are painful contractions and rumblings announcing the time is near, events that "rumble" the earth are Divine signs of these contractions and indicative to REAL changes about to occur in our lives. The lesson to learn and prepare is to TRUST in GOD, we must not be frightened nor fearful or anything that happens, and must simply accept that there is a good reason for everything that happens in all our lives. I make mention of this as this New Moon in Taurus today begins the 2nd Month of the Jewish year IYAR; a period of sadness and mourning in the Jewish calendar. This month forces us to reflect upon historical events and teaches the lesson of living in peace, love and harmony with each other. For those people who refuse to live in peace, love and harmony with one another - will have the same end as the cursed 24,000 Jewish disciples of Rabbi Akiva who showed no respect, love and compassion with each other. As explained above where there is NO love - then the Eternal Divine energy of GOD cannot exist, destructive hatred then leads to death. The energy of this Taurus New Moon is to simply learn to LOVE EVERYONE, with peace, compassion and in harmony with all of the Eternal Divine Spiritual Realms of Souls. "Polarizing New Moon - Are YOU Good or Bad ? There is no doubt that events will bring out the best in the good people and the worst in others. As explained in the paragraph above and according to Jewish tradition of the 2nd Month Iyar which begins with this New Moon today. This is a time of testing of ones character, ones identity will be questioned and judged from today and for the next 2 weeks as we get closer to the full moon of 20th May 2008. Every day one's character will be judged; is one kind and compassionate or is one hateful and destructive? Astrologically it will be a "quiet" week, and therefore with no major astrological mood swings, upsets or upheavals in ones life - it will be a good time to introspectively look at ones own character - are YOU a kind and compassionate person or are you hateful and destructive ? What good have you done in the world ? Is the world a better place because you are alive ? Do other people feel happy about your existence ? And most importantly you should ask yourself honestly - Is the Eternal Divine Spirit World pleased with YOU ? If the answers are positive then you can expect a rewarding Summer, if your answers are negative then one can either change (which is highly unlikely - considering the fact that Saturn has just moved forward, making people very stubborn and immoveable) or expect an awkward and painful Summer 2008, following the fate of selfish previous generations who failed to be LOVING and COMPASSIONATE. For many kind-hearted and loving people, this will be a Summer of seeing the "just deserts" being dished out to those people whom have made your life miserable over the past few years. The Eternal Divine accountability will be balancing the books from today for the next 6 months, and as it happens ALL the good people will find themselves being restored to the status and good fortune they had before the evil and destructive people destroyed their lives over the past 5 years, since 2003. For all of the LOVING, COMPASSIONATE & ENLIGHTENED souls of the world we will all be saying THANK YOU GOD from today and every day, so that by the end of the Summer 2008 we will have seen DIVINE Justice being done - and it ALL starts TODAY with the NEW MOON in Taurus - the Jewish month of IYAR. Friday Afternoon 9th May 2008 Jupiter retrograde until 8th September 2008 Jupiter, planet of optimism, faith, hope and expansive growth has been moving through down-to-earth and hard-working sign of Capricorn since January 2008. Through the past few months we have all found ourselves very focused on certain aspects of our lives, sometimes this has made us boring and single-minded. We have done this in order to set the solid foundations of one aspect of our lives. There may have been moments during the past few months that one has been feeling so hard-worked that one simply wanted to rebel and throw-off any burdens, but the strength of Jupiter in Capricorn has meant that one felt "committed" to get the job done, in the hope that one will have a break and holiday in the future. Well today is the day for a well-earned break; as Jupiter goes retrograde from today until 8th September 2008 we all have a chance to take a well earned break, and reflect on all the solid hard-work that we have done over the past 5 months. The next 4 months will be a time for reflection; if you can imagine a 2/3rds built building, now is the time to reflect on the unfinished structure; similarly in your life use the foundations of the connections one has made, places and experiences of the past 5 months to analyze and assess ones life, use the next 4 months to make some improved alterations and then get ready for the completion from 8th September 2008. This does not mean to say, nothing will happen over the next few months, Jupiter's retrograde simply means that all the foundations of opportunities have happened and the "new you" is established, now it is up to you to use wisely all the good fortune you have had and the important connections you have made over the past few months to restructure your life, in order to complete the rest of the picture and live a wholesome and fulfilled life, so that by the time September 2008 comes - you are ready to move forward with even more new opportunities and good fortune. I should add that over the next few days until next weekend, Venus will be approaching an excellent aspect with Jupiter; both planets are in down-to-earth earth signs, which means REAL results in one area of ones life. This astrologically harmonious aspect will mean LOVE for many, but not necessarily with someone, it may mean you will find one aspect of your life that you really LOVE doing, it maybe a job or hobby, if you are single and looking for love, it will mean you will start to be content and in LOVE with life which will then make you feel at ease, calm and at peace with yourself which will then create opportunities to find REAL LOVE. Friday Evening 9th May 2008 Mars moves into Leo until July 1st 2008 Exciting times as Mars moves into fire sign of Leo this evening; for many of us the unusually long transit of Mars in Cancer since September 2007, has been far too long, dull and boring in one aspect of all our lives. It has been "uncomfortable" and "hard work" in one particular area of our lives. Well from this evening that's all about to change as Mars whose natural home is in fire sign of Aries, arrives in fire sign of Leo, it will now energize that dormant aspect of our lives. Each and every person will find ONE area of ones life - WAKE UP this evening; something will start to come alive, and you will wake up on Saturday morning feeling "something" has changed in ones life. That feeling of ALIVENESS is the astrological energy of Mars in Leo and it will get stronger from tomorrow until July 1st 2008. So be prepared for a "hot & exciting" Summer 2008 ! Monday 12th May 2008 Sun at 21° Taurus sextile Uranus 21° Pisces There are 6 times a year when the Sun sextiles Uranus, every one of these astrological aspects creates energy of "expect the unexpected surprises". Some "surprises" in our lives are real out-of-the-blue surprises, others are things that we have been hoping and praying to happen - then finally and suddenly they happen. Today's astrological expect the unexpected surprise is the latter; this good energy will be like a bursting through and breakthrough that has had plenty of prayers and thought energy trying to get passed a stubborn blockage in one are of ones life. Well today offers the chance to BREAKTHROUGH the impenetrable barrier ! Monday 12th May 2008 Sun at 22° Taurus trine Jupiter 22° Capricorn Together with the excellent aspect of Sun and Uranus, later on Monday evening there is an excellent aspect of Sun with Jupiter; both in down-to-earth earth sign which means that the happiness and good fortune will be in REAL LIFE. I specifically use the words REAL LIFE; as so many people have been "hooked" onto the internet, which i am sorry to inform you is an "unreal" world. Even though you maybe viewing real events on news websites, and seeing photos of real places and real people, nonetheless if you are NOT physically there then it is ILLUSIONARY and not REAL. This polarization between ILLUSIONARY & REAL will become much more prolific in all our lives with Pluto in Capricorn over the next 18 years, a REAL discernment and definition will occur in everyone's life as each person will experience an awakening. Suddenly everyone in their own time and place will wake up to the definition between ILLUSIONARY & REAL. Today's astrological aspect of Sun trine Jupiter will create a REAL energy in ones REAL life. Something very positive and good will happen in everyone's life today - but it will ONLY happen in the REAL world; if you are absorbed with TV or Internet - you will block and miss the chance of REAL life. What would you prefer REAL or ILLUSIONARY ?!!! Wednesday 14th May 2008 Sun 24° Taurus squares Neptune 24° Aquarius By no accident nor chance, the Sun in down-to-earth Taurus squares illusionary and dreamy Neptune; this will wake-up everyone, especially the "dreamy" people to see something very real in all our lives. Very often we allow ourselves to be deceived be life, people and situations in order to teach ourselves important lessons; today's astrological aspect will create a situation where one will see the truth; it may hurt a little - but nonetheless seeing the truth today and having closure on that deceptive aspect of ones life will save everyone pain in the future. Sunday 18th May 2008 Venus 21° Taurus sextiles Uranus 21° Pisces In continuity of the breakthrough we are all experiencing in May 2008; today's astrological aspects will be the MAGIC to make it all happen. Today's astrological aspects have the potential and are probably just what we have all been waiting for to make all our dreams come true. Venus provides the energy of LOVE, it creates an inner warmth that makes us feel content, happy and in love with life, such a small energy of LOVE can create anything and everything in life, both physically and spiritually. As Venus aspects Uranus we can all expect a sudden feeling of LOVE; something special and surprising will happen that will make one feel the true energy of life - LOVE. At that moment one is touched by a LOVING energy, one should then truly feel ALIVE - use this aliveness to make others feel alive and loved - then truly the world will become a more compassionate and loving place. The expression we all say when a really unexpected event is likely to occur is "it happens once in a blue moon", the expression "a blue moon" means that we have a double Full Moon in the same astrological star sign. Statistically this happens 41 times in 100 years. The event is due to the moons orbit being 29.5 days whereas the astrological calendar of the Sun in any star sign is 30 days. Most people discard the event as insignificant, however the Talmud in Taanis 9b teaches that the power of human speech and human expressions in any language has deep meaning. Hence when we exaggerate our speech and say "it will happen - once in a blue moon" we are actually wishing and creating energy for something spectacular to happen today !
