Understanding depression
The so called medical profession טוב שברופים לגיהנם
"The best doctors belong in Gehinnom-Hell"
The reason the mishne and talmud gives for this astonishing judgement against doctors is only to the category of doctors who do not believe in GOD or a spiritual soul .
Doctors who diagnose the physical body without any consideration that there is a soul that needs healing are compounding the problem, especially if they prescribe anti depressants to "numb" any emotional pain . They are trying to suppress any spiritual feelings with their medication, thereby denying the person the opportunity of using the difficult experience to change for the better .
They have compounded the problem, preventing "spirit world" trying to help the person, and therefore by "transference" the doctors soul is now responsible for the missed opportunity the patient had to change, by giving the patient anti-depressant and other poisonous drugs. Taking on such a responsibilty, and assuming the doctor continues a life of disbelief in GOD and a soul , then as the mishne say " the best doctors belong in hell!"
Mental Illness & Depression
In brief, "mental illness", usually means that part of the soul did not transcend properly during conception, or it means that there is a BLOCKAGE of life energy entering the persons soul, mind, and thoughts.
Good advice for people with mental health is to give the person "natural" jobs to do, like gardening, farming, sowing seeds, feeding animals, living in nature and connecting with "nature" - sadly society does the opposite and locks many of these people indoors in concrete "dead-energy" buildings !
However in our generation there are programs in the US, Israel, France and Switzerland situated in the countryside, especially on farms, where these mentally ill people are connecting with life giving energy of nature in farming which helps to enliven and reconnect the SOUL with the creative energy cycle of LIFE and true growth, which stimulates the mind.
Depression, usually means the SOUL, has been detached from the body, suppressed & depressed to a point of disconnection, even to the extent that the person abuses their physical existence "bringing on death" and wishing they were dead by acts of self abusive and self destruction like masturbation, drugs, alcohol and smoking etc .,
The simple formula is to define every act one does - ask oneself is this abd act of "GIVING LIFE and LOVE or is this creating HATE, DEATH and DESTRUCTION ?"
Once a person can categorise every action into either LIFE or DEATH, then one becomes aware that the reason a person has a "depression" is because one has a life of activities and actions of DEATH, instead of CREATIVE LIFE.
