"Life of Compassion" In this chapter a "Life of Compassion" from Sefer Shinuyim - The book of Changes, we shall explain the following:- 1. The Spiritual Law of Compassion . Understanding that all humans are created with a unique soul by GOD, everyone has a unique purpose, and everyone deserves respect for their specific role they have in life, even if we have differing opinions, different ways of doing things and different beliefs & perceptions of life. 2. Understanding that anger is a result of arguments and disagreements when people are intolerant towards others and lack compassion for other human beings. 3. Understanding the meaning of "humility" and the ways of a humble person. Understanding that "Humility" is the key to having compassion for everyone and the key for "spiritual" elevation of ones soul. Introduction The purpose of the journey of our soul during this physical life is to arrive at the highest level possible during our physical existence which is to emulate the eternal DIVINE creator of the universe, learning to have unconditional LOVE and COMPASSION for everything and everyone as all are the creations of GOD. 1. The Spiritual Law of Compassion "In the same way GOD is compassionate, so too we should learn to be compassionate" Compassion is a spiritual bond of energy, whereby the compassionate one has a strong bond of feelings and emotions. This strong compassionate feeling enables a person to feel the other persons worries, fears and negativity and then is able to negate these emotions through the power of prayer and flowing of spiritual energy through their elevated soul in order to bring healing to the compassioned person. The Compassion of GOD GOD - the eternal DIVINE creator of the universe, has compassion upon everything and everyone. Each persons soul has been created by the eternal DIVINE creator of all souls, hence the spiritual bond of compassion from GOD to each and every person ensures that every person will always feel the reassuring presence of GOD from within. The amazing compassion of GOD is that even when the recipient ignores or pretends that there is no DIVINE GOD, the compassion of GOD will still care for and be attached to every single creation in the world and every single soul. Even if a person is demanding from GOD and ungrateful for all the miracles and help GOD continually does, teh compassion of GOD will always give a person their needs. Everyone is Created by GOD Every single person is created with a unique soul by GOD, every single soul in every single physical body has its own unique purpose, we have all been created by GOD. No one is better than anyone else, each of our souls have been given the tools and instruments in the form of our personal situation, intellect and abilities in order to live the life we need to live for the unique purpose of our soul according to the specific level of lessons our soul came to earth to learn. Everyone Deserves Respect איזהו המכובד ... המכבד את הבריות Whom is a respected person by GOD ? One who respects ALL the creations of GOD Everyone deserves respect for their specific role they have in life, even if they have differing opinions, different ways of doing things and different beliefs & perceptions of life. Everyone has a soul that is created by GOD and therefore everyone deserves respect as one of creations of GOD. When a person learns to respect other people with compassion in seeing the wisdom of GOD who created different types of people with their own unique purpose then a person will be connected spiritually to the eternal DIVINE spirit as one is emulating the ways of GOD is showing respect and compassion for all the creations of GOD. No matter whatever the status they have in society whether they are poor or rich, race or religion every single person is a creation of GOD and deserves respect. GOD Created The World With Different Types of People The essence and nature of this world since the time of the "fallen tower of Babel" (see Genesis Chapter 11 verse 1-11) is that the world needs diversity. According to the talmud there are no two people in the whole world whom are alike, every single person living in this physical world is unique, that is because every single soul within every person has a specific and unique purpose in life. No single person can do everything, we all need each other in order to live life on this planet earth. When we consider that every single person has a unique purpose, then we actually give thanks to GOD that other people exist to help us in our life, in the same way that other people thank GOD that we exist in helping them on their lives. "Thanking" Leads to Compassion When a person starts to THANK GOD for the gift of other people in the world and appreciates the lives and souls of other people who are all working harmoniously together in ones life to make it a better life, then this automatically leads a person to thinking about these people with compassion, respect and sincere appreciation. This connection is the bond of "compassion" that is a spiritual bond between the souls of people, which will always provide the link between people to allow a flow of good energy which can support a person when they need help by their compassionate friends. The first lesson in learning how to be compassionate to others is to learn to appreciate people and only see the goodness within peoples character and souls, without judging any part of their behaviour, learn to say "THANK YOU" to GOD for creating other people with their unique souls. Compassion - "Pray for Other People" Being compassionate means being concerned for other people, without meddling or interfering with their lives. Don't force yourself upon other people by giving them your good advice or tell them that you have been praying for them, but simply PRAY for them in your prayers. A compassionate person will always ask GOD to help other people and provide people with everything they need, with a life of LOVE and life of happiness, good health and peace of mind. Everyone who prays for other people will find that there soul becomes even more compassionate and genuinely concerned for other people just like a loving parent cares for their children. 2. "Anger" is a Lack of Compassion Understanding that anger is a result of arguments and disagreements when people are intolerant towards others and lack compassion for other human beings, as they are interfering and controlling other peoples lives. Reason for "Anger" The only reason why people become angry is because they want to control someone elses life or someone is trying to control their life, and the only way to detach oneself and break the bond is by becoming angry. The energy of "Anger" forces and breaks bonds between people, whereas "Compassion" creates bonds between people. Trying to Control Someone Elses Life People who try to control and interfere with someone elses life are in fact attempting to steal someone elses destiny by causing blockages and disruption in that persons life. No one has the right to control, manipulate or interfere with anyone elses life. Even if the "victim" tolerates this in the short term, eventually they will have the energy to break free from being controlled. As the spiritual law of life will refuse to allow anyone to control anyone elses life and interfere with someone elses destiny. People who forcibly wish to control other peoples lives, minds and thoughts are breaking the spiritual law of destiny and compassion, which, in fact is refusing to respect GOD. As everyone who respects GOD must respect and realise that other people have their own unique soul and purpose in life, designated and created by the eternal DIVINE spirit of GOD, therefore no one has the right to control anyone elses life or soul. "Why Do People Want to Control Other Peoples Lives?" It has always been human nature that "bullies" and "intimidators" exist, both men and women who use the power of their mind, thoughts and actions to control and manipulate other peoples lives. When an intimidator has subdued and is controlling someone elses life they feel strong within themselves, whereas the "victim" feels tired, drained, subdued and abused. This is a complete transference of energy between these two people, where the intimidator has taken the good life energy from the victim, and the victims life is left void, drained and empty. As explained on "Protection" page, there are people "freeloaders" who only take and give nothing, who have no good energy of their own order, hence in order to survive they need the good energy from good people, so they steal it by controlling the other persons life, by blocking and thwarting the persons progress in life, making the good person feel tired and drained in the presence of such freeloaders. Therefore the good use of the energy of "Anger" is needed to help disconnect the bond of negative attachments to rotten people. Once this clearance and disconnect has been made, now a person can focus on good connections with good people through bond of "Compassion". The next stage to develope "compassion" is learning the art of being "humble":- 3. Understanding the Meaning of "Humility" "Humility" is a complete way of life, whereby a humble person continually lives with the knowledge that there is someone somewhere more important than they. The knowledge that there is A HIGHER someone above them, and it is there duty to serve the HIGHER being before taking care of their own needs. The more humble a person is then the more a person wishes to serve other people, even to the extent of neglecting their own desires and needs, in the Selfless Service of other people. דע לפני מי אתה עומד לפני מלך מלכי המלכים "Know in Whose presence one is standing... in the presence of GOD, the creator of the whole Universe" Spiritually speaking "Humility" is the knowledge that there is a GOD, an eternal DIVINE spiritual GOD who is aware of everyone and everything a person does and thinks in this world, therefore the spiritually humble person is constantly aware and in awe of the presence of GOD. Not only is a spiritually enlightened soul constantly aware of the DIVINE presence, but is also aware of the spiritual presence of Guardian Angels. Hence with this constant sense of HIGHER presence a person is "humble". Out of appreciation and thanks for the gift of life, the personal opportunities, abilities, talents and gifts, the continual physical and spiritual support , a "humble" person always attributes everything they have, with a sincere thanks, to GOD. A Humble Person Desires to Serve A humble person always desires and wishes to serve the needs of other people first before looking after themselves. They consider other peoples needs are much more important to be fulfilled than their own. Humble people are always selfless as they consider themselves as servants of GOD, being placed on earth to help fulfill and serve the needs of other people. A humble person is satisfied with whatever they have in life, they are always content and always appreciative of everything that occurs in their lives, knowing and trusting in GOD, that even if they are being "taken advantage of" by unscrupulous people, they will always be saved from bad people and bad situations. "The Thoughts of a Humble Person" A humble person never needs to show any anger or aggression to acquire anything, as they intrinsically know and believe that if it is their "destiny" then it will be theirs, if it is not their "destiny" then the rightful person will acquire it. The converse is of the greedy selfish person who constantly shows aggression in order to get and keep what they want, even if it "NOT their destiny", even though they have the feeling and are aware that it will be taken away from them eventually, they still want to steal and take something that belongs to someone else. A humble person knows that GOD will always provide whatever they need, therefore there is never any need to lie, cheat, manipulate or play any of the games that people play in order to control other peoples lives to get what they want for their own selfish benefit. A humble person always trusts in GOD to get what they need at the time they need it. "The Attitude of a Humble Person" A humble person constantly has attitudes and thoughts like, "I'm glad that i am nobody important", and "Am i taking too much space and not being thoughtful for other people, how much space do i really need?" and "Why should i get upset by someone who is angry against me, its their problem in life, i have done my best" and "who cares if someone has upset me!" The humble persons constantly looks at physical life as a short journey for our soul, and provided one has ones soul, inner thoughts and connections with GOD and spirit world, then there is nothing anyone can do to hurt, steal, damage or destroy, as these destructive adjectives only apply to physical materialism. Whereas spiritually nothing can be destroyed or stolen, therefore a humble person ALWAYS feels safe and secure, with an inner peace of mind and knowledge that they are connected with the eternal GOD. Humble People - Talk Softly Firstly the humble person recognises that they are constantly in the presence of the eternal DIVINE GOD, and in the presence of many spiritual Guardian Angels, therefore a humble person always talks respectfully and quietly. When a person recognises the power of speech and that the eternal spiritual realms are listening to ones speech and prayers, one becomes careful with ones words, never wasting energy talking about superficial or meaningless subjects. מה אומנותו של אדם בעולם הזה "What is the job of everyone in this physical world ? Learn to keep quiet - Shtum!" The Talmud in Chulin 89a explains this spiritual advice, that we must look at life as a lifelong job where we learn to value the power of speech, to the extent that if we cannot say anything constructive then we should keep quiet/shtum. A humble person will always be extremely careful with the power of speech, living with the knowledge that the eternal spiritual world is listening to every word said. Understanding that "Humility" is the Key to Having Compassion A humble person is constantly looking for ways to serve other people, as we explained "Compassion" is a bond in ones mind, thoughts and soul to be concerned for someone elses life and well-being. "Compassion" enables a humble person to feel the other persons pain and suffering, and then ask in prayer for help for that person. Compassionate people will ofcourse be humble that they will never want any thanks or credit for the work that they done in praying for other people as they consider it a part of selfless service of GOD. The more a humble person feels compassion for many people, the more they feel purposeful and wholesome within their soul, and the closer they feel to the eternal DIVINE spirit of GOD. Understanding the Spiritual Value and Importance of "Humility" ענוה מביאה לידי רוח הקדש The book "MesillasYeshorim מסילת ישרים" from the Talmud Sota 49a explains that once a person has mastered "Humility", then intrinsically the nature of the person is to be 100% compassionate, constantly thinking in prayer to help other people. This constant spiritual awareness and desire to pray for other people with compassion brings a person closer to GOD and to spiritual world, and will eventually open a persons soul to a level of DIVINE inspiration and leading to a level of Oneness with GOD with complete selfless service to GOD. ==================================================== " The Pathway to Enlightenment " This page is part of our new second section called "THE PATHWAY" taken from Sefer Shinuyim - Book of Change and Sefer Tikunim - The book of Corrections , this section explains with a small key of knowledge, one will have the ability to transform and change ones thoughts and heal ones soul. This is the reason every person came to this earth - to CHANGE. ======================================================
