The Precise Wisdom of Palmistry

קו החיים The Life Line

The Life Line runs in a curve, it starts just above the thumb, between the thumb and the first finger, it runs downwards towards the wrist. It indicates the exact course of, the pathway of and the strength of one's life.

The Right Hand & The Left Hand

Usually only 10% of peoples right and left hands lifelines will be exactly the same, most people have variances in the right and left hands. These small and very significant variations indicate exactly what changes one has made with ones life; as one has managed to override and change ones original destined pathway.

Small variations indicate that one has made decisions and altered the course of ones life slightly; Major variations in the lifelines of the left and right hands indicate major changes one has done with ones life over-and-above the life that was originally destined for ones soul.

The lifeline on ones left-hand defines the original destined pathway one's soul is designated to take for the course of ones life; the lifeline on the right-hand is the actual journey one is taking; if there are any differences between the left and right hands lifelines these are due to ones own freewill decision-making, very often variances are caused by external circumstances if one is too easily influenced by other peoples lives or situations.

Long & Short Life Lines

The reason why many people are fearful of studying palmistry is that they are afraid of knowing and seeing the future, especially if that future in "physical" terms means pain, suffering and even death.

A Major Break in the Life line

A break in the lifeline means a period when one will either be ill or be lacking in life vitality energy, but in the same way the line continues and it is only a break, so too a person with a break / gap in the lifeline will continue to live.

A break in the lifeline means one is given "time-out" of life with a potential opportunity to start over life anew on a different course.

Large breaks and completely new lifelines mean that ones life will have a complete change; everything in ones life will change entirely; like being transplanted from one country to another, being born anew with a new purpose in life in a different country and in different circumstances.

Even such an event as a jackpot lottery win, large sums of inheritance money or life-changing marriage are indicated in lifelines that have large breaks with a completely new line in a new direction.

In our generation where many people are reincarnated souls, many of us have come to earth to relive several past-lives, all of which are contained in this one life; hence we find that our lives have sections of COMPLETELY new changes, that is; change in marriages and lifestyles, even changes of where one lives, changes in profession and marriage too !

Islands on the Life Line

From the images above (and is especially clear on the black-and-white print), one can see that islands on the Life lines are quite common; An island is simply an opportunity and choice in life to take two possible ways to the same end result.

During the transition whilst one is going through an "island" of time, it is like "life" has gone on hold, for the period of the island, a detour is being taken, one feels slightly weakened; however once the period of the island detour has been taken, coming back on track is like arriving back home along ones true destined pathway after a long journey.

Forks on Life Line

Usually from the ages of 45 there is a fork in the lifeline, this offers two different alternatives, most 40 year olds experience some type of mid-life-crisis when they have the potential to change and alter their lives permanently for the better.

Both these lifestyles are diverging from each other as implied by the diverging fork; they have a destination far away from each other, usually one pathway offers a longer, happier and healthier life whereas the other pathway is just a continued existence from before. Implying that the mid-life-crisis years are trying to encourage a person to change and live life fuller and happier.

The diverting and different pathway has an extended lifeline, much longer than the other continued lifeline . This is indeed a sign to represent that if the person changes their lifestyle, choosing to do live a life they really should be living if they change, then they will be blessed with a longer and healthier life .

A permanent FORK on any line offers a choice of life, which is irreversible once the decision is taken .

Inner Life lines

Inner lifelines, are usually faint lines, shorter in length than the life line, but follow the same pathway as the lifelines, located between the life line and the thumb, inside the lifeline area and are situated on the "Mound of Mars" on the right-hand and on the "Mound of Venus" on the left-hand.

Inner lifelines are an indication that a person is blessed with spiritual guides and angels that are accompanying a person in their life. Anyone who has inner lifelines usually have an inner confidence that they will always be alright; the inner peace of mind that everything in life is going to be alright.

The inner lifeline is an extra source of life vitality and life energy, on the right hand (Mound of Mars) they give the person inner strength of character; on the left hand (Mound of Venus) they give the person an extra-lucky streak and the inner ability to always be compassionate, loving and charming.

The Heart line is immediately below the base of the 4 fingers; it starts at the side of the hand beneath the little finger, known as the "pinky" or "mercury finger", and moves across the hand towards the thumb, either finishing beneath the middle, first finger or between the 1st and middle fingers. This line describes the emotions of love from ones heart and details ones "love life".

Lines going UP from the Heart Line - True Love

The lines going up from the heart line are the good true and passionately loving relationships your heart is blessed to meet in life. These are lines of true love.

Lines going UP from the Heart line at the very beginning of the heart line are going straight into to the "mound of mercury"; this segment is the segment of the hand that energizes and indicates ones ability to communicate. Lines going UP from the Heart line at any other point on ones heart line follow a pathway towards the "mound of mercury".

All truly loving relationships are based on the ability to communicate; without the power of good communication there cannot be sincere love; the main catalyst for deep and lasting love within ones soul is the strength of communication between two people. When one is in a truly strong loving relationship one can even communicate with each other with the power of thoughts.

All good relationships are indicated in the small lines going UP from ones heart line into the "mound of mercury"; these small lines are usually ones marriage lines and children lines as one communicates best with ones husband/wife and children.

Lines going DOWN from the Heart Line - Hate

The lines going down from the heart line reflect the bad and hateful relationships, these people that are indicated on ones heart lines by lines going DOWN are there to to deceive and ruin ones life; they are bad people who are destined to be brought into ones life to test one; they try and destroy the loving emotions of ones heart through deceit and lies.

Hate is not just a matter of a lack of love; Hate is deadly and destructive energy, whereas love is a life-giving constructive energy, wherever there is LOVE there is life, happiness and good fortune, wherever there is hate there is death, sadness and bad luck.

The lines going down from ones heart (as in the image below) are finishing in the "Mound of Neptune" this is known as the חלק הדמיון Mound of Illusions and Imagination; this area in ones hand indicates how easily gullible and deceived a person can be. All bad relationships have their source in this mound of illusion, imagination and deception.

When someone deceitful will lie and say they "love you" they are trying to deceive you for the sake of trying to get something from you; all bad people are materialistic, greedy and selfish; they use their personality to deceive people in order to steal from them.

People whom have had bad relationships with selfish people have all been deceived, this is the ONLY thing they have done wrong, they have been "open" to be attacked and hurt by a liar.

This trauma of bad and unloving deceitful relationships is indicated by lines going DOWN from ones heart line. In the example below there are 4 very strong bad relationships lines going down from the hand; all of which occur from the early ages of 10 until 35, and have made a very deep emotional impression on the persons heart and life.

A Strong Heart Line indicates a very loving, "alive", passionate and compassionate person.

A Weak Heart line indicates an unemotional person, someone who doesn't get bothered by their emotions.

A Straight "Cold" Heart Line

or a Warm-Hearted Curved Wavy Heart Line

A straight heart line if often associated with a person who is emotionally closed, unemotional, dull and boring this is especially true if the head line is more clearly defined than the heart line.

The more curved the heart line, the more emotional and sensual the subject. People with curved lines are not afraid to demonstrate their emotions and have an intrinsically very loving and compassionate nature.

The person with a curved heart line is always a loving, compassionate and creative, such a person is always content and happy with life; "When a person has love a person has everything" applies to everyone with a warm-hearted and curved heartline; whereas people with straight Heart lines are never happy and content with love; they want more in life than "love" and haven't recognized that with "love" is the key to success in life.

A Plain & Short Heartline

A plain heart line reflects a plain and usually a cold-hearted unemotional person, who chooses to close the emotions of their heart and would not to be loved nor love; usually plain heartlines are short lines as such people stop loving at a young age and never really find "love" as long as they live; nonetheless a straight and long heart line means that one has loving emotions but is "closed" and doesn't let anyone know of ones true emotions.

A Lively Heartline with Many Intersecting Lines

The more lines that intersect the heart line the more people a person loves and meets in life that have a deep and profound affect on ones heart and emotions. A person whom has a intersecting lines on ones heart line means that one is "OPEN" to love and "OPEN" to be loved.

Every line that crosses over ones heart line indicates a truly LOVING relationship in ones life; some of these small lines that join ones heart line to ones head line can indicate that one loves the job one does.

Lines that go upwards from the heart line to the "mound of sun" and to the "sunfinger" indicate enjoyment, inner and outer happiness with the success of ones life.

Lines that extend from the heart line to the "mound of Jupiter" indicate that one will always know how to love and that one has the inner feeling that so long as one knows who to love then everything in life will be fine.

Meets קו גילגול נשמה Lines of Fate and Destiny

According to Jewish Spiritual Teachings all generations are a continuity of life as one generation leaves another generation comes דור הלך ודור בא, there is an overlap in generations, and this is usually from grandparents generation to grandchildren's generation.

The spiritual bond that is made between one generation to the next is made from sincere LOVE; each person when they die leaves someone special that they love behind on earth; such a strong connection and bond of love between the two souls that the soul of the grandparent or person that passes to Spirit world chooses to come close to and help the loved one as much as they can, guiding there lives like "Guardian Angels".

The specific timing in ones life when one meets and decides whom one loves so much, with such a desire to come back after one dies from this world is indicated at the point where the "heart line" meets the "fate and destiny" line.

Lines going UP from the Heart Line - True Love

The lines going up from the heart line are the good true and passionately loving relationships your heart is blessed to meet in life. These are lines of true love.

Lines going UP from the Heart line and going straight into to the "mound of mercury" are lines of true love; this segment "mound of mercury" is the segment of the hand that energizes and indicates ones ability to communicate. The reason that "marriage lines" are situated in this area is that true love is based an a perfect ability to communicate with each other.

Marriage Lines

On everyone's hand, there are lines going upwards from the heart line, these are all good loving relationships, the stronger the and deeper the line the more love.

If the line is completed all the way from the heart line to the side of the hand then this is a successful marriage, if the line is broken this is a broken marriage; although the energy of "love" is still there and exists, it is nonetheless seen as a broken marriage.

In everyone's hand there will always be at least two chances for true LOVE during life; on the image of the hand below one can see 3 very strong marriage lines indicated by string horizontal lines on the side of the hand; the first 2 have broken lines going to the heart line; whereas the 3rd marriage line flows across the palm of the hand which means that there is approximately 15 years from the 2nd marriage to the 3rd marriage. Nonetheless as marked in Red lines there are at least 6 strong good loving relationships in this persons life.

Marriage Lines also known as "commitment lines"

The lines going up from the heart line are traditionally known as strong loving "marriage" lines. However the truth is that for some people, a love of work or commitment to a project, life ambition, aims and goals or most importantly an idealistic service of GOD, as with dedicated monks, nuns, priests and spiritual leaders can also be reflected in the "marriage lines".

In our materialistic world it is very common that people are "married to their careers and jobs"; and hence this love of work and love of career can be reflected so strongly as a "marriage line". But more often the only true arousal for love is seen in people who are devoted to spiritual service of GOD.

Religious leaders and spiritually committed people do have a "marriage - commitment" line. This strong idealistic commitment is actually seen in palmistry as a marriage line. "Married" in spiritual service to GOD. Ofcourse they maybe tested like everyone else to prove their commitment in their devout relationship. As every "commitment" simply means the constant testing and reaffirming of ones commitment to that "one love" of ones life.

Breaks in Marriage Lines

In a divorce or break up of a marriage/love relationship there will be a break in the marriage line. This too is written in ones destiny. The lines on the hand never lie, and what is reassuring is that even the bad relationships, divorces and break-ups are destined.

Lessons in love needed to be learnt by ones soul, and possibly Karmic (reincarnation) clearance of the past-life was needed. Learning to release that "type" of person from ones life and learning to change ones character are necessary "heart-breaking" lessons for ones soul, and is always written in the lines on ones hands.

One can always be reassure that whenever there is a break in a marriage line, there will always be another marriage line afterwards, in Palmistry this is important to see in the lines as this gives a person reassurance that the break-up was necessary and that a more suitable destined relationship is awaiting in the future.

The head line runs across the palm horizontally with s light curve downwards; starting from the area between the thumb and the forefinger, in between the heart and life lines and usually finishes half way across the hand for most people, however for extremely intelligent people or people who are always "thinking" the head line can extend to the side of ones hand.

It represents the ability to think, reason and focus ones mind and thoughts. The head line reflects the strength of ones mind's ability to focus and concentrate.

When this line is well developed, long, and straight it indicates a practical mind and success in whatever one focus' on, as ones head is "switched on" and one is always thinking.

A Deep and Strong or a Weak and Faint Head Line ?

If the head line is strong and clear with no breaks or waves in the line this means one has the ability to focus ones mind and thoughts with a clarity of mind.

Strong Head Line - A good worker

A strong headline is a sign of a hard-working, level-minded person. A short but well defined line denotes the power of concentration and determined ambition.

Weak Head Line - Easily Distracted

A faint, weak and fragile looking line, whether it be short or long, tends to be associated with a mind that easily is distracted and bores with long periods of study and has an inability to focus ones thoughts on a particular subject.

The reason why most peoples headlines are short, ending at the ages of 40-45 is a reflection that at that age they are no longer able to think as clearly as they used to.

A Flat Horizontal Headline

A flat headline, that is the line moves across ones hand completely horizontally and doesn't curve downwards is the head line of an intelligent person, but not a person with any creative intelligence.

The Fate Line

The line of "Fate & Destiny" or as is known is Jewish Spiritual Palmistry it is the line of "Reincarnation of ones soul קו גילגול נשמה " (the "Kav Gilgul Neshoma"); this line identifies the reasons and purpose ones soul is born into this life; it also clearly marks all the "destined" meetings one will have in ones life.

Every single reincarnated soul, that has come to earth to rectify something they have done in a precious life or has come to earth for a specific purpose has a "Fate & Destiny" line. But not everyone has a line on both hands nor does everyone have a long and wholesome line.

The bigger the spiritual soulful purpose ones soul has to accomplish in this life the longer, deeper and more complicated ones "Fate & Destiny" line will be; if one just has one small correction to make to ones soul is this life then the line will be short.

If one is a new soul with no specific purpose in life then one will not have a "fate & destiny" line. Bracelets

The Kohanim - priests held their hands in this way for the priestly blessing . In fact they held their hands with the thumbs together so that the two hands together looked like 5 points outwards.

The first mention of blessing, that is giving someone a spiritual blessing, transferring energy through the power of ones hands is in Genesis chapter 48 verse 14, when Jacob blesses his grandchildren, Ephraim and Menashe. From the times when the Torah was given at Mount Sinai, the priests KOHANIM, where chosen as dedicated servants of GOD for the temple ( as it was the whole tribe of Levi that did not worship the Golden Calf, in fact symbolic that they did not worship materialism, and therefore most suitable for a wholesome and perfect spiritual life ).

Position of Hands to be focused and closed

Prayers , learning focusing and being closed to outside influences. As the talmud explains, there are times when we need to be closed to external bad influences. The need for closure is not just a physical need , in order to protect ones life from criminals. Praying with hands as in this picture above was stopped in Europe in the 11th Century after the christian crusaders had murdered jewish communities on their way to the Holy Land. The European Rabbis felt that praying with hands as in picture above would be copying the accepted "christian" way of prayers. Nonetheless the oriental and sefardic communities of the muslem / arab countries continued to pray with their hands.

Correct Spiritual Praying hands

The correct spiritual position for maximizing ones soulful prayers with effect . According to Kabbala only the fingertips and bottom of ones palms should be touching . As each hand represents two different facets of ones soul, ( Kindness and Strength - חסד גבוּרה ), and connecting at the fingertips maximizes the transference of spiritual energy within ones soul .

Shaking Hands

The act of shaking hands is an exceedingly spiritual experience, shaking hands connects the TWO people spiritually . Their souls are connected by the handshake . Hence many Rabbis and holy spiritually people are exceedingly careful with whom they shake hands.

Holding Hands

Understanding that shaking hands makes a soulful connection, this therefore emphasizes the importance of husband and wife holding hands . Even if they have had an argument of have a problem, if they can hold hands then there souls will reconnect without all the materialistic egos getting involved . Simply holding hands a man and a woman will have a spiritual connection with each other .

If a man and woman cannot hold hands this reflects that there souls are not connected with each other . It would probably be a good idea for young couples to meet simply by holding hands to see and sense spiritually if they are compatible with each other ( This was actually the tradition as quoted in Gemorra Talmud Taanis 31a ) . They used to find wives husbands by looking at the spiritually qualities of their souls and not the external superficial beauty or wealth . By making a soulful connection their relationships were safe and secure based on true destiny of their souls .

Saluting

Saluting is also a very spiritual act , as the raising of ones hand to greet another , showing the palms of ones hand to the fellow soldier , as if to say he is to be trusted and comes with an open soul , with nothing to hide . A spiritual act of greeting in peace .

Clapping

As we explained the two hands represent to sides of our character, the right hand - the side of kindness חסד , the left hand - the side of strength גבוּרה . Indeed the act of clapping is considered a spiritual act whereby the soul connects these two qualities with strength of clapping, in so doing cleanses any bad vibrations away from the persons soul . It was actually a Sefardic oriental custom to clap when one wakes up in the morning for the same reason to cleanse ones soul .

Using ones hands to protect ones soul

A headache

For example, whenever a person has a headache there is always a tendency to hold ones head with ones hands .
