Born in Poland, miraculously survived the holocaust . Since then, he woke up very early every Shabbos morning to read the whole book of Psalms - Sefer Tehillim, before davening, to thank God for saving his life .

After Reb Arun's wife Sorele Runder passed to spirit world, he sold his house and bought a Sefer Torah with the money, and donated it to Viznits Beis Hamedrash in Stamford Hill, London N16. ( He married the widow of Reb Shia Rockeach). Sadly he had no children, but many close friends came to his levaya and cried . He was a very specially thoughtful and kind man . Many people who knew him and have been to pray at his grave in Cheshunt have had "Divine" help.
